Chief Justice: Sharia Lawyer is a Pillar for Spreading Awareness, Rectifying Misconceptions, and an Authentic Partner in Justice
His Eminence the Chief Justice, Sheikh Abdul Hafiz Al-Rabtah, highlighted the essential role of Sharia lawyers in spreading legal and Sharia knowledge and rectifying inaccurate concepts and perceptions. He stressed that the lawyer is an authentic partner in the justice system, and that the integration of their role with that of the judge contributes to protecting rights, achieving justice, and ensuring family and societal stability.
This came during His Eminence's patronage of a honoring ceremony for Sharia lawyers who participated in a specialized training program on the Personal Status Law. The program was organized by the Jordanian Sharia Lawyers Association in cooperation with the Sharia Judicial Institute at the headquarters of the Department of the Chief Justice, in the presence of the Director of Sharia Courts, Dr. Sameeh Al-Zoubi, the President of the Association, Advocate Osama Al-Saudi, and a number of judges and Sharia lawyers.
