Grand Qadi Inaugurates the New Kufranjah Sharia Court Building and Conducts an Inspection Visit to Ajloun Sharia Court
His Eminence Grand Qadi Sheikh Abdul Hafiz Al-Rubtah inaugurated on Wednesday the new building of the Kufranjah Primary Sharia Court in Ajloun Governorate, in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Kamal Al-Samadi, President of the Sharia Judicial Council, and Dr. Samih Al-Zoubi, Director of the Sharia Courts Administration. The inauguration comes as part of the Grand Qadi Department's ongoing efforts to develop the infrastructure of Sharia courts and enhance the quality of judicial services.
The new Kufranjah Primary Sharia Court is located in Kufranjah, Al-Sahl Street, next to Remas School, in the area between the Military Consumer Corporation and Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque, providing convenient access for court users.
During the inauguration, His Eminence affirmed that relocating the court to its new premises, which houses the Case Department, Documentation Department, and the Public Prosecution Office, reflects the Grand Qadi Department's continued commitment to developing the infrastructure of Sharia courts and achieving its vision of providing a modern working environment that supports the Sharia judiciary and enables the delivery of distinguished judicial services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
His Eminence noted that bringing multiple judicial functions together within a single Sharia court and unified location provides integrated and efficient services to court users. It also supports the Department's strategy to modernize judicial facilities, improve service quality, and save citizens both time and effort.
During his tour of the Kufranjah Primary Sharia Court, His Eminence reviewed the procedures for delivering services and assessed customer satisfaction. He stressed the importance of continuously simplifying procedures to ensure timely justice and improve institutional performance. He also directed the establishment of a Sharia Enforcement Section at the court to further enhance the integration of judicial services.
On the sidelines of the inauguration, His Eminence conducted a field inspection visit to the Ajloun Primary Sharia Court as part of a series of inspection tours carried out in implementation of the Royal Directives, aimed at strengthening direct engagement and reviewing the realities of judicial work.
During the visit, His Eminence reviewed the court's workflow and the digital services launched by the Grand Qadi Department as part of its comprehensive digital transformation plan for the Department and the Sharia courts. He also received a briefing on the court's key operational needs and requirements, emphasizing the importance of continuing to improve the litigation environment and enhance the quality of services.
His Eminence further directed that the necessary measures be taken to relocate the Ajloun Primary Sharia Court to a building that better meets the needs of judicial work and provides a suitable environment for court users.
